Laminating
Laminating is a process of applying a transparent layer on the surface of the printed material. Through this process we obtain a so called multilayer foil structure consisting of two or more foils. The laminated layer protects the printed images from the negative effects of the environment, scratches, dust, UV light, humidity, and last but not least provides a clearer and sharper printed image. Laminating gives an extra rigidity to the support of the image and preserves and prolongs the lifespan of the image.
